SHISAM. This mystery being is me, myself, and I: Sheron Mathew.

 

My exploration for photography started in high school. What would soon become a passion was not fully understood until sophomore year of college. During this time I experimented with film photography. Since then I have developed a profound love from documentary style photojournalism. Though I am still discovering many aspects of digital photography, my ultimate focus is documentary and street photography with an emphasis in 35mm film. My favorite aspect of this work is letting my surroundings speak for themselves and in the process share the stories of the everyday man.

With digital photography, I enjoy landscapes, long exposures, and the occasional portraits. When I come across kool (yes with a K) products, I enjoy representing them through commercial works as well. 

 

Around October 2015 I started experimenting with videography. I hope to continue this work into the future. Films are the ultimate goal. Some day in the distant future, yes.

 

Summer of 2016 I began experimenting with abstract forms of digital photography. I aim to progress with this artistic subcategory, but what it will become is unknown for how it started is unknown. I will be taking on a limited number of projects until 2020 as I am currently working towards an MS in Physician Assistant Studies.
